Mac doesn’t cover himself in glory

This Wednesday was a day off for us in Holland so the family trotted off to Amsterdams Bos. (The forest). More Lucie’s idea than mine, she thinks fresh air is good and I like Fallout 3 on the PlayStation.

Plan was to go to the Pancake House, cos we all like that. But Mac decided rolling on fox poo would be more fun.

I had to throw him in the boating lake 6 times to get rid of it, but the smell took a lot longer.

Lara on the 5D

So after working like a dog for a few weeks, I took Wed’ off to spend some time with Lara. I wanted to play PS3 and Lara wanted to play in the sandpit. So we went fora walk and I brought along Deans 5D. It’s the Canon DSLR that shoots full HD video.

I’ve been very hesitant of htis camera cos it shoot compressed H264, so colour correction is nigh on impossible, and being compressed, filming brick walls looks like marching ants. But, if you get nice and bright light, and get it in focus. The results can be spectacular, just make sure you choose to watch in full HD…
